More About Becca

I am the owner and practicing therapist of Home Sweet Speech, LLC. I’m state-licensed (in RI and NY!) and nationally certified in speech-language pathology, but I am currently based in northern Rhode Island.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, where I took classes that focused on parenting styles and the family dynamic as a whole, which often play a role in my therapy sessions.

I then graduated with my Master’s degree from SUNY New Paltz, completed my clinical fellowship in Castleton, NY a year later, and have been practicing with a variety of populations since then.

So far, my experience has been in…

• a private preschool agency providing school- and home-based services for students who qualified through EI (early intervention; ages 0-3) and CPSE (Committee for Preschool Special Education; ages 3-5).

• a small, public school district in NY servicing speech-language therapy to students in kindergarten through 12th grade, AND district-wide Assistive Technology Consultant providing training to teachers and related classroom personnel on student technology needed for student success

• a larger, public school in RI servicing elementary students (K-5) and high school students (9-12) including two program-driven classrooms for students with severe to profound needs

I opened the doors to take on clients through Home Sweet Speech, LLC in NY in spring 2022 and moved my practice to RI in summer 2023!
